Geneva Holder, age 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born in Brown County, Indiana on January 25, 1926 to Sylvannis and Malissia Penrose, she moved to Florida in 1969 with her husband, they were in the restaurant business having restaurants in Ft. Pierce, Okeechobee, Lake Wales and their last one "Ranch Haus" in Avon Park, which they closed in 1996 when they retired. She is survived by her husband, Robert Holder, sister, Dorothy (Les) Beardon, sister, Linda Carman- Munfordville, KY, one son, Mel (Nancy) King-Lake Placid, FL, daughters, Shelia Johnson-Sebring, FL; Carolyn King-Sebring, FL, six grandchildren, six great -grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was a member of "Women of the Moose" Chapter 956, Okeechobee, "American Legion Auxiliary" Unit 0069, Avon Park, "VFW Ladies Auxiliary" 4300, Sebring. She loved her family, cooking and gardening. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 10:00am - 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring on Friday, December 19, 2014. There will be a graveside service beginning at 1:30pm, at White City Cemetery, 3800 Sunrise Blvd, Ft.
