Gene A Lappin

Gene A. Lappin, age 85, passed away on March 17, 2014, in Sebring, FL. He was born on June 11, 1928, in La Crosse, WI, to the late Arthur and Jenny Lappin. He was an active member of the J.C.'s and Kiwanis service clubs as well as past president of a national cleaners association. He enjoyed participating in tennis, golf, boating, traveling among other activities. His greatest joys were helping others and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Sebring, FL, children: Kristin Harbaugh (Jim), West Salem, WI; Lee Lappin (Melinda), Chippewa Falls, WI; Rick Lappin (Cristina), Locust, NC; eight grand-children: Jaclyn Wirth (Ryan); Cullen Harbaugh (Kristina); Ben Lappin (Savannah); Stacia Lappin; Katelyn Monk (Ben); Angelina, Mark, and Matthew Lappin, eight great-grandchildren and one sister: Carol Weigel (Tom).
