Gary Young

W. GARY YOUNG W. Gary Young, 62, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011. He was born April 6, 1948 in Sebring to Dorothy M. and William (Bill) Young. Gary graduated from Sebring High School and worked as a State Licensed Building Contractor since 1971. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sebring. Gary will be greatly missed by his wife, his best friend, Lynda Luke Young, formerly of Sebring and Moultrie, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father. Gary is survived by his mother and mother and father-in-law, Larry and Anna Stephenson of Meigs, Georgia; sister, Pat Barden of Titusville, Florida; brother, Col. (R) Lance (Lenna) Young of Seneca, South Carolina; daughters, Megan Valence of Casselberry, Florida and Audrey OBerry of Pennington, Texas; and grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Amy, Kierston, Tyler, Laci and Kendall. A Graveside Service will take place Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring with Rev. Winfred White officiating.
