Gary Donovan Wiseman

Gary Donovan Wiseman passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 81. He was born on October 12, 1942 to Victor Glenn and Justine Julia (Simmons) Wiseman in Whitesville, West Virginia. He was a resident of Sebring since 2020, having moved from Cambridge, Ohio. Gary worked as a truck driver and proudly served his country in the US Air Force on multiple tours during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and VFW, a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, a docent at the National Museum of Cambridge Glass, and an active member of the First Sebring Church. His hobbies included golf, fishing, gardening, and detailing cars. Gary is survived by sisters Dreama (Tom) Mosher of Sebring, Florida; Elizabeth Simon of Cambridge, Ohio; and Linda Janes of Mattoon, Illinois; by a special friend Sandi Rohrbough; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vera, infant son, and sisters Brenda Scott and Sandra Crowcroft. Burial with military honors will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Ohio. Donations in honor of Gary can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
