Gary Andrew Norris

Gary Andrew Norris, age 80, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was born on December 9, 1939 in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Albert O. and Velma I. (Gose) Norris. Gary graduated from Wheelersburg High School; Piedmont Bible College with the degree of Bachelor of Religious Education; and Covington Theological Seminary with Master of Ministry and Doctor of Ministry degrees. He was a pastor for over fifty years, serving the Lord in churches in Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina. Gary was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church of Sebring.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Faye Norris (Jenkins), Sebring, FL; Son – Joseph M. (Peggy) Norris, Millersville, MD; Daughter – Kimberly D. (Tim) Ramsey, Marysville, OH; Grandchildren – Seth Ramsey, Elizabeth Arney (Matthew), Emily Norris, and David Norris; Sister – Karen Morgan, Duke, OK, and 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00am Maranatha Baptist Church of Sebring with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00am.
