Gary E Dougan

Gary E. Dougan passed away on Wednesday, June 10 ^th , 2020 with his loving wife by his side at the Vitas Hospice Center in Sebring, FL after an extended illness. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 2 ^nd , 1935 to Elmer & Martha Hazle Dougan. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Grettler) Dougan; children: Susan(Andy) Caufman of Perkasie, PA, Gary (Emy) Dougan of Erie, PA, Carole Lynn (Kent) Voss of Surprise, AZ; grandchildren: Amanda(Garrett) Eason, Emily (Valmire) Cakolli, Molly(Robert) LaNave, Kian(Billy) Saxton, Danyelle Dougan and  Nathaniel Dougan, Drake, Casey and Katherine Voss, Great grandchild: Hannah Cakolli; brother: Pat Dougan. Gary is preceded in death by his parents: Elmer & Martha Dougan; brother: Norman Dougan. Gary graduated from Harbor Creek High School & was a true Patriot, serving in the Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Sergeant and Honorably discharged. Gary worked in the printing industry where he retired from Thomason Printing, Carrollton Ga., in 2000. For several years Gary enjoyed his work as a Ski Instructor at Peek’n Peak Resort in Clymer N.Y. After retirement Gary enjoyed watching football, playing cards and eating out...But his greatest love was spending time with family and friends and the cherished memories they have made. If so, desired memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
