Froilan Baez

Froilan Baez, age 89, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, to the late Domingo Baez Vega and Juana Maria Flores.

Mr. Baez was a dedicated and hardworking individual who retired from Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as a plumber. He was a devoted family man and loving husband to the late Margarita, who was the love of his life.

Froilan is survived by his two children, Pete Baez and Margarita Umbel (James), both of Sebring; brothers, Felito Baez, Tavio Baez and Santo Baez, grandson William Umbel; and great-grandchildren Brynn and Alex Umbel. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM and a service at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
