Frederica Singh

Frederica Singh, age 84 passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Clarendon, Jamaica to Arthur and Louise (Babooram) Bhoorasingh. She was a Homemaker, member of Crossroads Community Church; she had been a resident of Avon Park for over 30 years. Her lifetime was devoted to caring for her family; she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children-Alena Holness and Yvonne Singh both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Faye Ward (Tony) of New Jersey, Elisha Singh (Ilett), Pam Pratt (John) and Kisha Singh all of Avon Park, Florida; 1 brother and her best friend Jenny Williams; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years-Elisha Singh. Visitation will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Community Church with Rev. John Dumas officiating. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Victory Tabernacle Church with Pastor Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elisha Legacy Scholarship Fund, 507 Hood Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825.
