Freddie Ray Stricklin, age 74, of Avon Park, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 02, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. He was born September 30, 1938 in Cullman, Alabama to Milliard and Betty (Freeman) Stricklin. He was a truck driver in the agriculture industry, attended the Community Bible Church of Avon Park and has been a resident since 1961, coming from Hialeah, Florida. He is survived by his Daughters - Betty Priest of Sebring, FL; Carolyn Young (Ernie) of Avon Park, FL; Son- Larry Stricklin (Melody) of Avon Park, FL; Son-in-law - Perry Self of Wauchula, FL; 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Daughter - Tanya Self. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL with Pastor Tom Schankweiler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior of the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
