FRED Q. MICHAEL Fred Q. Michael, age 79, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Hanover, PA on May 31, 1932 to Hoke and Bertha (Amspacher) Michael. He drove the courtesy van for Alan Jay Automotive for 16 years, worked for the Hanover Evening Sun as a printer for 26 years and P.H. Glaterfelt Papermill for 22 years. He was of the Lutheran Faith; served in the U.S. Army; was a member of the AMVETS Post 21, V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was a life member of McCherrys Town Home and was a resident of Sebring since 1997 coming from East Berlin, PA. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Michael of Sebring, FL; sons, James Michael of Fairfield, PA and Oscar David Hildebrand (Sylvia Toni Waite) of Sebring, FL; sister Betty Hoke of Spring Grove, PA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Ronnie and Candy Mossburg of Abbottstown, PA and 1 grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until service time.
