Fred Goodman

Fred Goodman, age 79, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on October 23, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Abraham and Rebecca Goodman. Fred moved from Miami to Avon Park in 1986. He enjoyed building models, working in the yard, sports, history, and most of all taking cruises with his wife, best friend, and soul mate Nancy. Fred is survived by his wife: Nancy Goodman, daughter: Amy Berrong (Milford), sons: Michael Goodman of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Glenn Goodman of Law Vegas, Nevada, and Jeff Ryer of Chicago, Illinois, Special caregiver and granddaughter: Rebecca Grubb from Sebring, Florida, as well as grandchildren Jonathan, Jacqueline, Christopher, Kirsten and Joseph. Fred was predeceased by his two brothers Martin and Herbert and his grandson Matthew Grubb. A funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, FL.
