Frank John Procopy, age 87 passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. Mr. Procopy was born in Gary, Indiana on May 13, 1925 to Leonard and Pauline (Adams) Procopio. Mr. Procopy was an Electrical Engineer, served in the United States Navy during World War II; he was of the Catholic faith and had been a resident of Avon Park since 2006 coming from Lake Placid, Florida. He is survived by his daughter-Pauline L. Procopy of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters-Mary J. Manos, Rose Procopy and Catherine Hatch all of Merrillville, Indiana and Sarah Wayte (Albert) of Lake Havaso City, Arizona; brother-Leonard Procopio (Mary Ann) of Griffith, Indiana 1 grandchild. He will be welcomed into paradise by his Loving God and his beloved daughter sweet Marie with the Mona Lisa smile, his Navy buddies and scores of friends.
