Frank E. Martin, born on May 12, 1964, in Denver, Colorado, passed away September 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in Lake Placid, Florida. Frank shared nearly three decades of marriage with his wife, Jennifer, building a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. Together they celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on August 3rd. 

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer L. Martin; his daughters, Melissa M. Martin, Andrea L. Martin, Brandy L. Frickell; and his son, Justin M. Frickell. Frank was also a devoted father to his three beloved pets, Shep, Kodi, and Baby, who brought him endless joy and companionship. 

Frank lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his loved ones, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, boating, riding dirt bikes, air boating with a frog gig in hand, or simply just spending time on the water with his family, he was truly in his element. One of his favorite places was the dirt bike trail at his home in Arcadia, where family and friends would gather for weekends filled with adventure and laughter. Frank, alongside his father-in-law and brother-in-laws, operated a repair shop where they kept the family's bikes running strong. As the kids came in for pit stops, they could always count on Frank to have the tools in hand, ready with a quick repair, a helping hand, and a smile. Those days spent riding, repairing bikes, and making memories together became some of the family's most cherished moments. 

Some of Frank's happiest memories were spent fishing with his wife, Jen, and daughters, Melissa and Andrea, at a little cove in Manasota Key. While they waded through the water together, casting lines and enjoying the beauty of the Florida coast, Frank shared his love of the outdoors and created moments of laughter, adventure, and togetherness that will be treasured forever. Family frogging trips were another favorite pastime, filled with excitement, friendly competition, and stories that would be retold for years to come. 

A true jack-of-all-trades, Frank possessed a remarkable ability to fix almost anything he set his mind to, and embraced a wide range of careers throughout his life. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver, mechanic, trained chef, and plumber specializing in new construction and underground utilities before ultimately finishing his career as a Foreman with Stanley Utilities. Whether he was repairing equipment, building something with his hands, or preparing a meal for family and friends, Frank took pride in a job well done. His favorite dish to cook was his famous Green Chili with Burritos, a meal that brought people together and became a cherished family favorite. His strong work ethic, versatility, and willingness to lend a helping hand earned him the respect and admiration of coworkers, friends, and family alike. 

Frank’s legacy is one of dedication, strength, and unconditional love. He taught those around him the value of hard work, resilience, and making the most of every moment. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though his absence leaves a tremendous void, his family finds comfort in knowing that somewhere there is calm water, a fishing pole in hand, a redfish on the line, and Frank smiling as he watches over those he loves.
