Frank Richard Hoffman, born on February 25, 1936, in McMillan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, in Sebring, Florida, at the age of 88. He was the beloved son of the late Frank and Martha Hoffman.

Frank served his country with honor as a member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. His service was a testament to his deep sense of duty and patriotism, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life.  He dedicated many years to working in construction for the State of Wisconsin. His work ethic and commitment to his trade were widely respected, and he took pride in the projects he helped build, contributing to the development of his home state.

Frank was a man who found great pleasure in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, where he could connect with nature and enjoy the serenity of the wilderness. He also found joy in yard work, tending to his garden and landscape with care and dedication. A true outdoorsman, Frank cherished the time he spent in nature.

Polka music was another of Frank’s great loves, and its lively rhythms brought him much happiness over the years. He was also known for his passion for Dodge pickup trucks, particularly those with powerful HEMI engines—a symbol of his appreciation for strength and craftsmanship.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hoffman; his children, Shirley Mayer of Wisconsin, Cheryl Schluga of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, and Richard Hoffman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and two cherished grandchildren. Frank was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a grandfather who adored his family.

Frank will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love of the outdoors, his hard-working spirit, and his amusing, light-hearted nature that brought smiles to those around him. His legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
