Francisco Burbano

Francisco Burbano, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on January 27, 1961, in Ecuador, the son of the late Luis and Julia (Abad) Burbano. Francisco worked as an RF engineer for AT&T. He had a lifelong passion for Corvettes and enjoyed every aspect of them—riding, repairing, and admiring their beauty and working on his own ’67 Stingray corvette. He was a proud member of the Highlands County Corvette Club and loved attending car shows. Francisco also enjoyed relaxing in his pool. Above all, Francisco deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. A devoted animal lover, he adored his pets and always looked forward to returning to Ecuador, a place close to his heart. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Burbano; his children, Luis Burbano and Michelle Burbano; and grandchildren many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jose Alejandro, Fernando Morales and Maria Julia and Isis.
