Francis J Sementilli

Francis J. Sementilli, age 86, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on September 27, 1930 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania to the late James and Christine (Marasco) Sementilli. Francis spent his career in the military with the United States Army retiring as Sergeant First Class. He spent one tour of duty in Korea and two in Vietnam. Francis was a Catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Name Society and a lecture with St. Ann’s Catholic Church in New Jersey. After moving to Sebring he became a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Golfing was a favorite past-time. Survivors include his wife: Geraldine Sementilli-Sebring, FL; children: Christine Ross, Mary Price, Francis Sementilli, Jr., Gerald J. Sementilli and Anthony Sementilli, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and one sister: Genieva Wallace. There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 10:00 AM, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring with Father Paul Kawalec­­­­­ officiating. Interment will follow service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, Florida.
