Francis Louis Merenda

FRANCIS LOUIS MERENDA Francis ("Frank") Louis Merenda, age 75, of Sebring, Florida passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Orlando, Florida. He was born November 20, 1937, to Louis and Elizabeth (Kuloszewski) Merenda in Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania. He was a driver and then manager in the trucking and rigging industry; was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was of the Catholic faith. He served as president on the Cormorant Point Homeowner's Association for 12 years and also was an active volunteer at Florida Hospital Sebring for many years. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 53 years, Connie Merenda; son, Frank Merenda, Jr.; daughter, Beth Merenda; son-in-law, Colin Cunningham; sister-in-law, Flo Vitale; cousin, Frank Merenda; sister-in-law, Jean Piccuito; brother, Bob Merenda; sister-in-law, Marie Merenda and many caring nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sebring, with Father J. Peter Sheehan officiating.
