Francis Lee Barley

Francis L. Barley Jr. went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2017.  Mr. and Mrs. Barley lived in Ft. Myers, Florida until 1952, when they relocated to Naples, Florida.  They started Barley’s Paints in 1954 and worked until they retired in 1985.  Mr. Barley was a charter member and choir director at East Naples Baptist Church for many years. They moved to Sebring in 1985 where Mr. Barley could enjoy his hobbies of golf and fishing. He was also an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan.  Mr. Barley was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Estelle Barley, three brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter.  He is survived by his Sisters – Helen and Jean; two Sons – Charlie (Carol) and David; eight Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and four Great-Great-Grandchildren.   Services will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring on October 1, 2017 at 2:30 pm with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Naples Baptist Church, 1697 Shadowlawn Dr., Naples, FL  34112, in memory of Francis Barley.
