Frances Ellen Chavis

Frances Ellen Chavis, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born March 29, 1947 in Titusville, Pennsylvania.  She had been a resident since 1974 coming from Brooklyn, New York and was a CNA.  She loved her grandchildren and family.  She also loved to cook and bake.  She is survived by her Children, Wilford Chavis (Jenny) of Fort Meade, FL; Francine Chavis of Sebring, FL; Shariff Santigo of Sebring, FL; two sisters; two brothers; 15 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford “Pete” Chavis and son James “Scott” Chavis.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 12:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with family receiving friends beginning at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, FL.
