Rev. Floyd Delbert Holland, age 80, of Sebring, FL, joined his Savior on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Floyd was born July 21, 1938 in Flint, MI to Louis and Iva (England) Holland. Floyd was a jack-of-all-trades, songwriter, and avid poet appreciated by many, including a U.S. president and a Florida governor. Floyd retired from General Motors in 1988, was a leader in Kingsway Fellowship International, and toured the U.S. ministering via song in a gospel group with his wife and brother-in-law. For 50 years, Floyd preached God’s word, giving hope and healing to countless lives, reaching as far as Mexico and Israel. Humor, strength, and amazing generosity were hallmarks of Floyd’s life.
Floyd is preceded by his wife of over 50 years, Bonnie (Back) Holland; his parents; 7 sisters; 2 brothers. Floyd is remembered by daughter- Debra (Tony) Richendollar; son – Kevin (Lorna) Holland; grandchildren – Chad Boyd, Jeremy Boyd, Melanie Holland; great grandchildren – Jordan L, Jordan B, Alexander, Hailey, Wyatt; great
great granddaughter – Maislyn; brother – Terry (Robin) McClure; his FAVORITE nieces and nephews; and many friends. Visitation at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Sebring on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 10:00 am till start of service. Services held at 11:00 am – Rev. Ken LeGrow officiating. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the family in Floyd’s memory.
