Florence Lillian Cowing

Florence Lillian Cowing, age 100, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Sebring, FL. She was born on September 9, 1921 in Buffalo, NY to Elmer and Josephine (Dauman) Schanne.  She  worked as a CNA in healthcare, was of Catholic faith, and has been a resident of Sebring since 1974, coming from Williamsville, NY. Florence enjoyed  gardening, jigsaw puzzles, playing  bingo and yahtzee. She also enjoyed spending time with her family She is survived by her loving children- Robert Cowing Jr. (Chris); John Cowing; Linda Culbertson (Tom); Marian Lomneck; Deborah Goff (Steele); Gary Cowing (Amy); Ronald Cowing (Patty); brothers-Ronnie Schanne; Richard Schanne; sister-Helen Schweitzer; and many nieces and nephews. Surviving are also 7 grandchildren many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents- Elmer and Josephine, husband- Robert Cowing Sr. and a son James Cowing.
