Flora Nutt

Flora Nell Nutt, age 91 of Wrightsville, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

She was born December 27, 1934, in Bonifay, Florida to the late William Thomas and Ellie Mae Day. She came to Frostproof, FL from Black, AL in 1950. She retired from the Polk County School Lunch Service for 30 years before retiring. She was a Chartered member of 1st Assembly of God in Frostproof, FL and attended Oaky Grove Church after making her home here in Wrightsville in 2017.

Flora Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. Nutt in 1998, a son, James Thomas Nutt in 2016 and a grandson, Kevin Jason Tucker in 1995.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Tucker and Marian Boykin (Glen) of Wrightsville, grandchildren, Tiffany Kent of Wrightsville, and Heath Boykin (Fiancée- Courtney) of Kinston, NC, and great-grandchildren, Ean, Taylor, and Elyssa.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Family Life Church in Frostproof, FL for family and friends. Pastor Kelly Galati will officiate.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of cremation arrangements.
