Flloyd E. Moore

FLOYD E. MOORE Floyd E. Moore, 95, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Sebring. He was born May 30, 1916, to Ellis and Eva (Meeks) Moore in Stony Bottom, West Virginia and had been a resident of Sebring since 2003, coming from Arcadia, Florida. He was a truck driver for Florida Power and Light; a member of St. John United Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Judy (Rufus) Brown of Sebring; son, Kenneth (Rosamund) Moore, New Castle, U.K.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Maydelle Moore; five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Rev. Ron DeGenaro, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park will be immediately following the service.
