Celebrating the vibrant life of Fiona (Kinkade) Santiago! On Sunday, March 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Tampa General Hospital, Fiona bid farewell to this world, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love. Hailing from Irvine, Scotland, Fiona was a beacon of kindness who touched countless lives.
She leaves behind her parents, Anne Kinkade and Ian Kinkade (Linda), her siblings Karen, Andrew (Katie), and Claire (Shannon), her cherished daughter Ashley Kinkade, partner Chad Philips, and her beloved nieces and nephews, Aidan, Ana, Oliver, Liam, and Maeve. Fiona's infectious spirit also enriched the lives of numerous friends, colleagues, and clients, who were all better for having known her.
Fiona's Guilford, CT upbringing was a tapestry of creativity and athleticism. Whether she was adorning yearbook covers with her illustrations, dazzling audiences in the band, or dominating on the sports fields playing soccer, softball, field hockey, or basketball, Fiona's talents knew no bounds. Her passion for art was shared at Cradles to Crayons, where she, alongside her mother and sisters, inspired young minds and left an indelible mark on the community.
Beyond the classroom, Fiona's artistic flair continued to shine as she created whimsical murals, designed tattoos, and serenaded friends with her musical talents. At the Paul Mitchell Hair Academy, she unleashed her creativity through stunning hair transformations, forming deep bonds with her clients along the way. Fiona truly had an amazing ability to really connect with her clients. She was not just their stylist, she was their friend. Fiona's culinary prowess was equally legendary, with her apple pies earning a special place in the hearts and stomachs of all who tasted them.
While Fiona may have left us physically, her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Let us celebrate her life with fond memories and joyful recollections, keeping her spirit alive in our hearts forevermore. Cheers to Fiona and the joy she brought to our lives!
