Fanny Montanez

Fanny Montanez, age 94, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on March 11, 1920, in Puerto Rico to the late Vicente Montanez and Gertrudis Vila. Fanny had been a resident of Sebring since 1992 coming from Puerto Rico. She was of the Catholic faith. Her hobbies included reading, sewing and crossword puzzles. She adored her grandchildren. Fanny is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Frederico and Aida Vazquez, grandchildren: Tony Vazquez; Kiko Vazquez and Johanny Vazquez, great-grandchild: Alexandria Morris. There will be a memorial mass on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.
