EVIE McNEIL Evie McNeil, age 80, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Sebring. She was born January 1, 1933, to Elsworth and Isabelle (Whitmore) Drake in South Canisteo, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2004, coming from Geneseo, New York. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Maranatha Baptist Church; volunteered with the SOWERS and enjoyed working with crafts and collecting lighthouses. She loved the Lord and her family and will be greatly missed. Evie is survived by her husband, Fred McNeil; son, Thomas Frank (Debbie) McNeil of Medford, OR; daughter, Shelly Lynn (Jeffrey) Lynch of Erie, PA; brother, Joel Bement of Key West, FL and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Maranatha Baptist Church in Sebring, with Pastor Gerald Webber officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo, New York.
