Evelyn R Grimshaw

Evelyn Ruth Grimshaw Evelyn Ruth Grimshaw, age 92, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born to missionary parents, John and Mary Grimshaw, in Aba Zaire (Belgian Congo). After accepting the Lord as her Savior, God led her to join Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) where she spent forty years as a missionary in Nigeria, West Africa. She was involved in teaching and training Nigerian young people for the Lord's service, and seeing many of them become evangelists, pastors, and missionaries. Ruth came to the SIM Retirement Village in 1987 where she joined Southside Baptist Church and continued serving the Lord in various capacities. She is survived by a sister, Mary Janish, of Spokane, WA.
