Evelyn Y Fann

Evelyn Yates Fann, 94 of Frostproof, FL died on May 17, 2018 at Crown Pointe in Sebring, FL. She was born April 10, 1924 in Pavo, Brooks County, GA to the late Darius and Alva Yates. Evelyn moved to Frostproof when she was in high school. She graduated from Frostproof High School in 1942. Evelyn was a loving wife to her husband and a wonderful mother to her children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fann, son Billy Fann, two brothers, Edward and Clyde Yates and six sisters, Dora Johnson, Myrtice Isom, Tiny Durance, Josephine Owen, Betty Yates and Lillian Tidwell. She is survived by Jimmy (Beverly) Fann, Mike (Janice) Fann, Brenda (Ralph) Howell, Bo (Marjorie) Fann, Holly (Sean) McCraw, all of Frostproof with the exception of Brenda who lives in Lakeland.  Evelyn had 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be at The First Baptist Church Frostproof on Saturday May 26th at 11:00 AM.
