EVA I. HOOVER On February 5, 2010, Eva Irene Hoover (Smith), formerly of Sebring, Florida and Southwestern Pennsylvania, died in Bellingham, Washington. Eva was born in Josephine, Pennsylvania on November 28, 1916, to James L. (Saxton) Smith and Grace Z. Mikesell. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Russell R. Hoover and Son and Daughter-in-Law, Thomas D. and Donna (Penrod) Hoover. Additionally, all of Evas siblings preceded her in death; Brothers, Virgil and Lester and Sister, Wava Maxine Kisic. Eva is survived by her Daughter, Nancy White of Maple Falls, Washington. She has four Grandchildren; Stacy Byrd (Jamie), Tina Yankowicz, Thomas M. Hoover (Tanya), all of Florida and Darren Church (Reanna) of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. Eva has six Great-Granddaughters. She was a devoted mother, homemaker, baker, cook, farmer and a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved gardening, painting, singing, animals and was always in awe of the beauty of the world. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of the Brethren and Order of the Eastern Star. A special thank you is extended to her Friends, Sean Becher, Stephen White and her Niece, Bonnie Kisic, for support and many visits. Visitation will be at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010, followed by a Graveside service at Noon in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, FL.
