ESTHER MARION JOHNSON Esther Marion Johnson, age 92, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 in Avon Park, FL. She was born in Buffalo, New York on March 17, 1919 to Jessie C. and Margaret (Leigh) King. She was a School Teacher; she was a graduate of Wesminister College with a Bachelor's Degree and later received a Master's Degree in Special Education. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a resident of Avon Park since 1957 coming from Miami, FL. She is survived by 2 daughters - Elizabeth Parker of Auburndale, FL and Susan Walters of Kileen, TX; 1 son - Jan Johnson of Avon Park, FL and 1 step-son - Arnold (Judy) Johnson of New York; 4 grandchildren - Tommy Walters, Shelly Austin, Cindy Richardson and Crystal Johnson and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband - William C. Johnson. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Adams officiating.
