Ernestina Reyes Gonzalez

Ernestina Reyes Gonzalez, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida.

Born on February 21, 1928, in Puerto Rico, Ernestina was the beloved daughter of Julian and Carmen Reyes. She lived a long, full life marked by her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family.

Ernestina found joy in the simple beauty of life. She adored flowers and gardening, especially nurturing her orchids. She also loved playing Dominoes and Bingo, salsa dancing, watching Wheel of Fortune, cooking delicious meals, and, most of all, giving to others. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Ernestina is survived by her loving children, Jeanny Gonzalez Campbell and Donald Gonzalez; her grandchildren Tayna (Chris) Taylor, Jean (David) Stamey, and Kayleh Gonzalez; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, generosity, and joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Juan Gonzalez; her sisters, Emma Reyes, Primitiva Reyes Plumey, and Carmen Julia Reyes Ferrer; her son, Juan Gonzalez, Jr.; and her grandson, Josian Gonzalez.

Ernestina’s light, love, and laughter will be forever cherished. Her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 30th at 1:30pm at Agape Farms, 631 Schlosser Road, Sebring, Florida.
