Ernest D. Brown

Ernest D. Brown, age 91, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on October 26, 1924 in Ithaca, New York to the late Ernest D and Julia (Sullivan) Brown. Ernest was a veteran with the U.S. Air Force; he spent his career in sales as CEO of Harry’s Crown Tire in Auburn, NY. He moved to Sebring in 1991 and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.  Survivors include his five sons: Robert (Nancy) Brown; Drs. Marc (Susan) Brown; Chris (Ruth) Brown; Matthew (Dr. Charlotte) Brown; Timothy Brown, one daughter, Margaret (Dave) Smith, fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Bunye Brown of Auburn, NY and Jan Brown of Sebring.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Catherine Catholic School, 882 Bay St. Sebring, FL 33870.
