Erma Inez Stone

Erma "Tootsie Bell" Inez Stone, age 71, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Sebring, FL. She was born on July 7, 1950 in Harlan, KY to Clifford Wilson and Lillie Mae (Ellis) Messer. She worked as a line worker in the manufacturing industry, was of the Protestant faith, and has been a resident of Sebring since 2021, coming from Indianapolis, IN. Erma is survived by her loving children, Daniel Bain II, of Indiana; Brian Messer of Indiana; Stephanie Mathews of Indiana;  brother, Billy Ray Messer of Indiana; sisters, Daisy Messer of Florida; Tammy Messer of Indiana;  Brenda Dowden of Indiana; Louise Jones of Indiana. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren,  Brittany Mays, Stephan Mathews, Ronni Johnson, Destanie Grant, Brooke Messer, Ronne Johnson, Cassidy Foster, Briannon Benafield, Daniel Keith, Devon Keith; 3 great grandchildren, Aubree, Jo’Siyah, Christian; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Peggy Whitt, and her niece Jenna Smith. The family will hold a visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at  Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
