Eoian Patrick Henderson

Eoian Patrick Henderson was born in Newfoundland at 10:35 on May 21, 1994.

I feel lucky to be under this same sky that held the exhale of his first breath.

He passed on May 24, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at 1:42 PM  in his beloved Florida. Find solace in the atmosphere around us that does not contain the exhale of Eoian’s last breath (finding comfort in the miracle donation of his perfect lungs in another chest, his heart beating on).

Eoian, EO to his nieces and nephew, was a vivacious trickster, a hilarious multidimensional joker, a life lived with a gentle tease and filled with laughter. Even his final moments in the trauma intensive care unit were filled with an unbearable lightness that made even the most seasoned nurse blush.

Eoian does not leave behind, because to be moved by him is to be continuously in his motion, moved by the life of his every breath. He is waltzing through his mother Rayanne Henderson, sisters Kellyann and Jackie. He is a tap dance in his precious niece (center of his being)  Chris Anne Marie. He, with his every arm flung open to us, is in nephew Aydan, and tiny niece Lizabeth. His heart loved past the bounds of family and on to Brittanie Calhoun who sat by his side as he made his retreat from us, and lifelong friend Lindsey Bailey.

Eoian’s life was his family and friends in the Highlands of the Everglades, his cross-country journeys that led him through mountains, deserts, and California sunsets -  his time as a community staple in Tallahassee. He moved joyously with the flux of his experience and the relationships he cherished.

In memory of Eoian Patrick a service will be held on June 3rd from 6 - 8PM, at Stephenson - Nelson. In lieu of flowers we ask you to make a cash donation to the LifeLink Legacy Fund, an organization that supports the recipients of organ donation.
