Emogene Carolyn Davis

EMOGENE CAROLYN DAVIS Emogene Carolyn Davis, 93, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at her home. She was born January 8, 1918, to Ellis and Frances (Searer) Eby in Wakarusa, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1997, coming from Syracuse, Indiana. She was a member of the Church of The Brethren in Syracuse, where she was very active, serving as organist, pianist and member of the choir. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, however, more than anything, she loved the Lord and served Him with her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald E. Davis in 1997 and her brother, Clarence Eby. She is survived by her son, Don Steven (Marlene) Davis of Sebring and Syracuse, IN; sister, Marie (Everett) Tom, Leesburg, Indiana; sister-in-law, Fran Eby of Kimmell, Indiana and two grandchildren, Tonda (Jay) Kaiser, Milford, Indiana and Todd (Katrina) Davis, Warsaw, Indiana and six great-grandchildren.
