EMMA J. CARROLL Emma J. Carroll, 67, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Orlando, FL. She was born January 28, 1945, to William W. and Mable N. (Gorman) Conway, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 2002, coming from LaBelle, FL. She was a Singer and Guitarist and a member of Southern Exposure Country Band for 18 years. She had been a Captain with Arm-Guard Company and was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. She is survived by her children; Isaac (Jeannie) Carroll, Avon Park, FL and Ann Marie (Wiley) Dickerson, Lake Placid, FL and seven grandchildren.
