Elmo Gene Wells

Elmo Gene Wells, 72, of Sebring, Florida, died July 22, 2010. Elmo was born in Mr. Erie, Illinois, on January 21, 1938. He was the son of the late Fred Wells and Ella Van Fossan Wells. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Hunt Wells, and his children Jett and Kathy Wells (Danville, Indiana) Neil and Jill Huffman (Canby, Oregeon), Barbara and Eric Birk (Sellersburg, Indiana), and Scott and Ann Wells (Brownsburg, Indiana). He left eleven(11) grandchildren and three (3) great grandchildren. Elmo worked for Trunkline Gas Company & Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for 36 years. He also worked as a corrosion engineer as an independent consultant services for the past 12 years. He was respected and revered by those who knew him. He was an avid sports fan.
