Ellsworth Clark Rucker

Ellsworth Clark Rucker, age 91, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on November 23, 1924 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Ulysess Harrel and Dorothea Laymone (Rainey) Rucker. Ellsworth was a veteran serving with the United States Marine Corp during World War II. He spent his career with the Miami Fire Department retiring after 32 years of service as the District Chief. He enjoyed hunting in the everglades and he loved the Smokey Mountains. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Grace Marie Rucker of Sebring, FL, daughters, Connie London (Michael) of Sebring, FL and Karen Reynolds (John) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
