ELLEN JOAN HEGARTY Ellen Joan Hegarty, 79, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011, in Sebring. She was born November 3, 1932, to George Edward and Edna Mildred (Krowl) Treadwell in Great Neck, New York and had been a resident of Sebring since 1974, coming from Pompano Beach, Florida. She was a homemaker, attended St. Catherine Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking and flowers and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Burris of Jacksonville, FL; son, Jack Hegarty of Sebring and grandchildren, Jason (Christie), Amanda (Cody), Joshua, Jaclin, Leah (Charles) and Philip (Adriana). She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hegarty. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice, 4840 Sun N Lake Blvd., Sebring, FL 33872.
