Ella May Letson Thomson Sorensen, 93 of Collegedale, Tennessee died on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Ella was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Raymond C. Thomson and Mary Ann Letson Moore. She was a Registered Nurse and a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 1963 and had moved to Collegedale in 2002. Ella was a member of the Martin Severance Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Avon Park Seventh day Adventist Church in Avon Park and the Collegedale Seventh day Adventist Church in Collegedale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur K. Sorensen, daughter, Sylvia Louise Sorensen and her identical twin sister, Thelma Lorraine Curtis Thomson Hartwell. Survivors include, son-in-law-Phil (Pat) Sue of Georgia; grandchildren-Kaye Michelle (Shellie) Dieter and Andrea Christine (Kristy) Alm both of Montana, Jonathan Phillip Sue of Washington and Jaron Arthur Sue of Oregon; six great-grandchildren; nieces, Frances Hartwell Robertson and Kathleen Hartwell Carmicino and nephew, Raymond C. Hartwell. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, Florida. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Avon Park Seventh day Adventist Church with Pastor Paul Boling officiating. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
