Ella Mae Cassels

Ella Mae Cassels, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Groveland, FL on October 16, 1930 to Osborne and Pearl (Butler) Joiner. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God, where she was very active, taught Sunday School, and a Wednesday night class and worked in the nursery. She was a resident of Sebring since 1945 coming from Miami, FL. She is survived by her sons, Henry (Hazel) Cassels, Pete Cassels and Bill Cassels, all of Sebring; daughter, Thelma (Roy) Bass, Sebring; sister, Jackie Pittman, Avon Park, FL; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Amos Cassels. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wilmont McCrary officiating.
