Elizabeth Delenela Legaspi

Elizabeth Delenela Legaspi, age 89, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Avon Park, FL. She was born March 2, 1933 in the Philippines to Abdon Comilang Delenela and Toribia Diestro  Delenela. She worked as a Periodical Secretary in the Philippine Publishing House, until she immigrated to the United States in 1971, and worked at Thorek Hospital until she and her husband moved to Avon Park, Florida in 1987. Elizabeth attended the Avon Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. Elizabeth's passion is to  sing solo or with the choir, Church and family was her life. She served in the different Ministries of the church and loved sending daily Devotionals to family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Rubeliza Rada (Israel) of Avon Park, Children  Deziree (Anthony)Charlene (Rodney) and Christopher; Jerome Legaspi of GA Child (Curtis "Bodhi"): Deborah Legaspi (David) of GA; Children Tyler (Kim) Joshua,  and Frederick Legaspi (Rhona) Child (Caitlyn); siblings, Rebecca Torres and Consuelo Rasjid of the Philippines.. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Reuben Legaspi who passed away in 2008. Visitation will be held at 2:30 pm until service time at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at  Avon Park Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Brown officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
