Elizabeth J Imlay

Elizabeth J. Imlay passed away on October 7, 2015 following a brief illness. She was born April 11, 1923 in Coles County, Illinois to Paul and Elizabeth Durbin Harman. Elizabeth lived most of her life in Indiana and moved to Florida in 1973. Most of her life she worked in accounting and bookkeeping. She especially enjoyed working for Mt. Vernon School Corp. in Indiana. She was married to Arlan Imlay in 1999 and he passed away in 2006. Upon moving to Florida, she took up golf at the age of 60 and continued to love and play the game until she was 90. Elizabeth is survived by her three children: Darryl (Linda) Lane-Logansport, IN; Robert (Debi) Lane-McCordsville, IN; and Paula Lane-Dallas, TX, Grandchildren: Jeremy (Shalisa) Lane- Wilkinson, IN;Carrie (Andy) Branham-Greenwood, IN; Vanessa (Brandon) Mitchell-Brownsburg, IN; Jacob (Julie) Lane-San Jose, CA, great-grandchildren: Brook, Mason, Matt and Caroline Lane; Kenny and Allison Bunnell; Emma Branham; Olivia and Davis Mitchell; Isaac and Eli Lane. Also surviving are one brother, Gerald of Homer, IL and one sister, Virginia of Grass Valley, CA, several nieces and nephews and special family members, Ralph and Treva Magnuson who were wonderful friends, companions and constant watchful neighbors. A brother and sister preceded her in death. Memorial Services will be at a later date.
