Elizabeth (Lib) Ellen Simmons

Elizabeth Ellen Simmons, 92, formerly of Sebring, Florida passed away Tuesday August 26, 2014. She was born December 26, 1921 to Virgil H. and Nora Elizabeth Fountain, Sr. in Clear Spring, Indiana, moving to Sebring in 1993 with her now deceased husband Donald. She had been a resident of Atria at Lake Forest in Sanford, FL since 2012. Lib was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always had a ready smile for her family and friends. We are all so very lucky to have been a recipient of her love. She was a member of the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Simmons is survived by her son, Gary Simmons, Eustis, FL; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Don Simmons of Sebring; a daughter Donna K. Stafford, and three grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held in Sebring.
