Elizabeth "Betty" C. Barker

Elizabeth Betty Barker, 78, of Avon Park, Florida, a devoted and loving Mama and Nonnie, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011, in Avon Park. She was born in Middletown, New York, March 11, 1932, to Dominick and Christine Biamonte. She was the bookkeeper at Bagwell Lumber Company for over 40 years. Mrs. Barker is survived by her daughter, Lee Sizemore (Glenn) of Avon Park; son, Johnny Barker of Avon Park; grandchildren, Jason Sizemore, Renee Faircloth, Kalee Barker, Smokee Barker; and great-granddaughter, Chaise Faircloth. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Stephenson-Nelson Chapel in Avon Park. A memorial Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park with Father Gerald Grogan celebrating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Highlands County. Services have been entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Avon Park, Florida.
