Eleanor F. Peterson

Eleanor F. Bunny Peterson, age 75 passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Ft. Myers, Florida. She was born in Brighton, Florida on March 25, 1937 to William and Claudia (Wiley) Hettel. Mrs. Peterson was a Realtor, of the Baptist faith and had been a resident of Ft. Myers, Florida. She is survived by her husband-Maynard Pete Peterson of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughters-Patty Roney (Ron) of Avon Park, Florida, Sue Childress of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ande Cobb (Kevin) of Cape Coral, Florida and Joan Cursi of Ft. Myers, Florida; son-Larry Thompson of California; step-daughters-Patti Heacock (Austie) of Sebring, Florida and Laurie Britton of Sanibel, Florida; step-son-Bruce Peterson (Carla Petie) of Ft. Myers, Florida; sister-Betty Poole of Jacksonville, Florida; brother-William Hettel of Ft. Myers, Florida; grandchildren-Tiffany, Jared, Michael, Megan, Liam, Tessa, Morgan, Tyler, Jacob, Josh (Amy), Jaime (Shane), Cody, Christina, Sarah and Brianna; great grandchildren-Ean, Taylor, Jax, Chloe, Lexi and Nevaeh; and her loving pet-Merell. She was preceded in death by her son-Steve Childress. Visitation will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Adams officiating.
