Edythe L Taft

Edythe L. Taft, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in Sebring, FL. She was born on March 28, 1926 in Hampden, Mass., to the late Charles and Blanche (Jensen) Lemon. Edythe has been a resident of Avon Park since 1974 having come from Hampden, Mass. She worked in nursing and liked to bake. Edythe is survived by her sons: Robert (Shirley) Taft of Avon Park, FL, David (Rose) Taft of Munson, Mass, Richard (Susan) Taft of Clermont, FL, brothers: Charles Lemon of Monmouth, CO, James (Hazel) Lemon of NC, Elwyn (Doris) Lemon of Conn, Carl (Mary Ann) Lemon of Mass, daughter: Donna (John) Pletcher of Avon Park, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Edythe was predeceased by her husband: Lee H. Taft, and brother: William Lemon. A memorial service officiated by Reverend George Hall, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church.
