Edward Frank Micka

EDWARD FRANK MICKA Edward Frank Micka, age 100, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Maranatha Manor in Sebring. He was born February 11, 1913, to John and Ella (Folting) Micka in Guttenburg, New Jersey, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1987, coming from North Carolina. He was employed in the computer industry in management; was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and served in Evangelical Baptist Missions. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Neil) Eskolin of Miami, FL and Joyce (Don) Higdon of Jacksonville, FL; son, Edward (Maureen) Micka of Latham, NY; sisters, Ethel Dvorsky of SC and Helena Willett of CT; brother, John Micka of CT; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services are being held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013, at Maranatha Baptist Church, with Pastor Gerald Webber officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens will be immediately following the service.
