Edward Thomas Hanood

Edward Thomas Hanood, age 81, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on November 5, 1931 to John and Anna (Namen) Hanood in Bellaire, OH and was raised in Sisterville, WV. He was employed by United Airlines for 37 years, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and was active for many years at the Haywood Fitness Center at Florida Hospital. He is survived by his wife Donna "Jean" Hanood of Sebring; sons, Pete Hanood, Lakewood, OH and Thomas (Kathryn Francis) Hanood, Portland, OR; brothers Albert Hanood, New Martinsville, WV and Emil Hanood, Sisterville, WV. He was preceded in death by his dear sister Marie Scibetta. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL.
