Edward Joseph Brosi

EDWARD JOSEPH BROSI Age 74, of Avon Park, died on Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 in Sebring. He was born on Feb. 6, 1937 in Astoria, NY to Herman and Margaret (Mulholland) Brosi. Mr. Brosi was a Retired Senior Chief, US Navy serving for 23 years and during Vietnam. He is a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, where he served as an usher, a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, D.A.V., F.R.A., the USS Saratoga Assoc., and has been a resident here since 1988, formerly of Portsmouth, RI. He is survived by his wife- Mary m. Brosi; Sons- Ronald Brosi of CA and Kevin Brosi of NY; Daughters- Eileen Hernandez of FL and Theresa Fleming of NY; 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held on Wed. Jan. 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park with Father Nick McLaughlin Celebrating. Entombment with Navy Honors will follow at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends on Tues. Jan. 24, 2012 at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
